Plant Hunting around the World – Nick Macer

Grayshott Gardeners is delighted to welcome Nick Macer as our guest speaker this month. Nick is a plant hunter and owner of Pan Global Plants, a nursery located in Gloucestershire. Nick originally trained at Merrist Wood College in Surrey and during that time worked at both the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and Westonbirt Arboretum. Nick’s obsession with trees and unusual plants led him to open Pan Global Plants in spring 1997. It has since become one of the most celebrated specialist plant nurseries in the UK. Do come along to hear about his extensive travels around the world. There will be mince pies, mulled wine and a raffle with an opportunity to win a Christmas hamper!
Hall doors open at 7.15pm for an 8.00pm start.
