Shrubs: the backbone of your garden, a talk by Geoff Hawkins

Geoff was head gardener of the private estate of Mill Court near Alton for 35 years. As a head gardener running a small estate of 30 acres, Geoff worked in greenhouses, vegetable and fruit gardens, herbaceous and shrub borders as well as looking after the trees, ponds and natural features on the estate.
An illustrated talk giving you some ideas of which shrubs you could use in your garden to give structure, shape and texture as well as colour through flowers, stems and foliage.
Doors open at 7:15 for refreshments, the talk commences at 8:00pm
