Zoom Talk by Fergus Garrett

The Hampshire Hardy Plant Group Zoom Meeting
FERGUS GARRETT
“Succession Planting for a Long Season”
As you probably know, Fergus is Head Gardener at Great Dixter House and Gardens. He has been the Head Gardener there since 1992, working closely with Christopher Lloyd until Christopher’s death in 2006. Since then, he has become Chief Executive of the Great Dixter Charitable Trust. Fergus works full-time, hands-on in the garden, as well as writing and lecturing extensively across the world. He is an RHS Gardens Advisor and has participated in many RHS Trials. Learning is at the heart of the work at Great Dixter. As one of the most dynamic and complex flower gardens in the world, they feel they have the responsibility to pass on the skills needed to garden in the way they do.
If you haven’t heard Fergus speak before, he is inspirational and loves to share his extensive knowledge with others. If you have listened to him before, I am sure you will agree that he is always worth listening to again. It should be a really great talk.
You can book on-line for the talk Book Here. As a number of our members do not use Zoom, we will also be watching the Zoom talk the same time in St Boniface Church Rooms, Hursley Road, Chandler’s Ford, SO53 2FT, and you are more than welcome to join us there. The Zoom and Church Room are open at 7 pm, and the talks start at 7:30 pm
