Advice from Mark Saunders head gardener at Fittleworth House
A talk by Ben Pope, who is Head Gardener at a private estate in West Sussex with a wide experience of all aspects of gardening. The talk will give ideas to extend the enjoyment of the garden in winter.
Everett Leeds, who is a founder member of the International Clematis Society and is Chairman of the British Clematis Society, will discuss the 800 species and cultivated varieties of this popular plant.
Nick Bailey, a presenter of BBC 2 Gardener's World, will give ideas to refresh an established garden and designs for a new one. This will be followed by Afternoon Tea. Entry by ticket only.
Annie Guilfoyle will give us inspiration for both small gardens and areas of larger gardens which lend themselves to more intimate planting. This talk will be preceded by the Spring Flower Competition
Stephen Harmer is a garden history lecturer and is Head Gardener at Tonbridge School His talk will cover a wide ranging view of a fascinating time in English Artistic development which still influences design today.
